1. The service
The site offers free editorial notes on IT training methods, software practice and cybersecurity hygiene. It is not a classroom, a qualification, a placement service or a software product. No fee is charged to read these pages.
2. No reliance as professional advice
Examples on the guide are teaching devices. They are not an audit of your systems and not a substitute for your organisation’s policies. Before you change a production system, follow the process that applies to that system.
3. Third-party courses
Where we link to an introductory course or to official guidance, you deal with that publisher on their terms. We do not take enrolment, mark work or collect their fees. Availability, certificates and pricing are theirs to set.
4. Acceptable use
You may read, print a page for personal study, and share the URL. You may not:
- present the site as your own product or remove the company name;
- scrape the pages in a way that degrades the service;
- introduce malware or attempt to probe accounts that do not exist here;
- use the contact details for bulk marketing to the company.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the site reachable. We may change or withdraw a page without notice. Planned maintenance will be as short as we can make it.
6. Limitation
The pages are provided as published. To the extent permitted by English law we exclude implied warranties about fitness for a particular project. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Changes to these terms
If we amend these terms we will update this page and the date below. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new text.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections.
